The Dime Bank Debit Card is chip enhanced, safer than carrying cash, and more convenient and safer than checks. The very same card is used to make ATM withdrawals 24/7. When you use your debit card, funds come directly from your linked Dime Bank checking account. One tiny piece of plastic; a whole lot of versatility.

Stop in or call to make an appointment to instantly receive a new debit card at the following Dime Bank branch locations: Honesdale, Lake Region, Greentown, Dingmans Ferry, and Carbondale.
Immediately activate The Dime Bank Debit Card or report it lost or stolen by calling Dial My Dime at 1-866-342-5693 or logging into your online or mobile account.
To report a lost or stolen The Dime Bank Debit Card:

  • Call our Customer Service Center 1-570-253-1970 Option 7 during these hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Holidays (except Thanksgiving & Christmas): 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • After banking hours, call 1-866-DIAL-MY-Dime (1-866-342-5693).
  • Report your card lost or stolen anytime by logging into your online account and clicking on the Options tab, then ATM/Debit Card.
  • You may also deactivate or suspend your card anytime by using our mobile app. Under the menu choose Preferences and Manage Cards. This gives you the ability to quickly and easily report a card lost or stolen or temporarily suspend a card if it is misplaced when on the go or after banking hours.
  • Easily and instantly replace your lost or stolen debit card with a new debit card at the following The Dime Bank branch locations: Honesdale, Lake Region, Greentown, Dingmans Ferry, and Carbondale.
Create or change your Personal Identification Number (PIN) by calling 1-800-290-7893 or in person at the following branch locations: Honesdale, Greentown, Dingmans Ferry, Lake Region, or Carbondale. You can also change your existing PIN at our ATMs, but you must know your existing PIN.
Temporarily suspend and reactivate your The Dime Bank debit card using our mobile app. Go to Preferences, click on Manage Cards, select your debit card, choose Suspend Card or Activate Your Card.
Add The Dime Bank Debit Card to your Mobile Wallet. With a quick tap of your phone or smartwatch, you can shop with your mobile device at participating merchants in-store, in-app, and online, providing extra convenience!
Enjoy automatic enrollment in the MasterCard® Automatic Billing Updater (ABU) service that provides your updated debit card information to participating merchants who maintain your debit card information on file to process your preauthorized payments. This ensures as little disruption as possible for your card-on-file transactions and automated / recurring payments if your card information changes.
I am nervous about debit card fraud / breaches. Can I get a new card?
Yes, you can instantly receive a new card at the following The Dime Bank branch locations: Honesdale, Lake Region, Greentown, Dingmans Ferry, and Carbondale. Otherwise, we can order you a new card and you will receive it in the mail in about 7-10 business days.

Can I keep my old card open while a new card is ordered?
We would prefer that if your card may have been compromised, that the card be deactivated immediately to safeguard your money.

What if I do not know my PIN?
Bank employees do not have access to your PIN but you can visit our Honesdale, Lake Region, Greentown, Dingmans Ferry, or Carbondale branch to re-pin your debit card.

What if I'm having trouble using my PIN?
Please call our electronic banking department at 1-570-253-1970, option 3 for assistance. 

What else can I do to protect my money?
Check your accounts regularly to monitor activity. If you detect any fraudulent activity, report it immediately and deactivate your card by:
  • Calling 1-888-469-3463, option 7 for our Customer Service Center Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Holidays (except Thanksgiving & Christmas): 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Call Dial My Dime at 1-866-342-5693, option 5 for card services.
  • Log into your online banking account and report your debit card stolen by clicking on the Options tab and then ATM/Debit Card.
  • Log into your mobile banking account and deactivate or suspend your debit card by clicking on Preferences and Manage Cards.
For ongoing fraud prevention, please make sure we have your current cell phone number and an email address on file so that we are able to get in touch with you should we detect any potential fraudulent transactions.
  • Sign the back of your card.
  • If you have an existing card, destroy it when you receive a new card.
  • If your card is lost or stolen, deactivate it immediately by calling Dial My Dime at 1-866-342-5693 or logging into your online or mobile banking account. You can also temporarily suspend your debit card via our mobile app.
  • Do not write your Personal Identification Number (PIN) on the back of the card or carry it with the card.
